Modular Platforms
The patented Orlando Modular Platform made of hot or cold galvanized metal tubes structures, has a capacity of 600 Kg per sq m and has been tested and certified under the relevant regulatory controls. The base module is 2.00 x 2.00 m. Alternatively; the use of 2.00 x 1.00 m and 1.00 x 1.00 m modules is also possible for the completion of odd measurements.
The floor, solid and compact, is made of 200 x 50 cm, multi-layered, spruce panels, 27 mm thick, whose surface, yellow or mahogany coloured, is treated with thermo-set resins making it resistant both to water and climatic variation.
On request, special, grade 1 fireproof - non-slip on both sides - brown coloured panels, made of 19-layered CARPLY birch wood are available in order to obtain a totally fireproof floor and platform.
The unique system of slotting the panels to the metal structure, free from the use of screws or similar, guarantees the resilience of the wooden floor to physical and atmospheric agents. The support feet, made with adjustable screw bases, can cope with differences of level as great as 40 cm and permit a standard platform height (modifiable on request) of 100 cm (min.) and 140 cm (max.).
Thanks to a special mechanical device, zinc-coated access stairs equipped with handrails can be installed in every module of the structure. The parapet, equipped with grooves on three sides, is made of elegant zinc-coated metal segments as a 200 x 48 cm single frame essential for the connection of the back stairs.

Platform Variations
The Orlando Modular Platform is suitable for all types of shows; from school shows to military displays, for dances, bands or choirs, to name but a few, and can be set up as either a simple Dance Board (min. height 50 cm), as a Board Platform (min. height 35 cm) or in the Big Steps Platform version with different height levels.
